For nearly 20 years, I served as a marketing leader at a top #125 and #225 accounting and advisory firms in the DC metropolitan region. Despite the challenges that can come from pursuing growth in professional services, I’ve learned to navigate complex waters to deliver positive outcomes. Some examples: 

• Developed a sales pipeline and lead qualification and nurturing criteria for 500+ leads and nearly $1 million of revenue potential 
• Increased by 63% the Internet search traffic revenue potential during a 2-year period
• Increased by 67% the number of web-generated leads  
• Launched the first-ever webinar programs at a Top #125 and Top #225 CPA firms
• Increased by 200% the number of a CPA firm's digital newsletter subscriptions 
• Expanded marketing of 4 underrepresented services to 2,500 qualified prospects 
• Won 2022 AAM Marketing Achievement Award in content marketing category
• Created policies and relied upon AI workflows to improve thought leadership generation production from a benchmarked metric of 40% to 80%
• Created a robust sales collateral development program incorporating articles, white papers, flyers and videos 
• Collaborated to develop 7 values- and demographics-based marketing personas for the Association for Accounting Marketing
• Expanded CPA firm marketing team from one to three professionals 

My decision to head out on my own was driven by an interest in helping other firms save time while expanding their growth potential. Firm leaders are focused on serving clients and have limited time for marketing and business development activities. From personal experience, I also know many in-house marketing teams can get caught up in other operational tasks or don't have all the skill sets they need to drive marketing success. An outsourced solution with an experienced professional may be the best investment you can make to move forward. 

The professional services marketing function has the honest function of building meaningful, mutually beneficial connections with both current and potential clients. I collaborate with those who appreciate the value of having a powerful, unique brand voice and connecting with potential clients who are excited they found out about you. 

I have also been involved in the accounting marketing industry in other ways, having served as vice president, board member and public relations committee chair for the Association for Accounting Marketing, a membership association of growth-focused marketers and business developers.
